The ZR-03/2 buffer power supply is a cutting-edge device with fast charging technology. It serves as a battery for PUE HX7 terminal scales.
The ZR-03/2 set includes:
- voltage converter with a cable (for scale connection) and with appropriate terminals,
- dedicated power bank.
Voltage Converter
The voltage converter is equipped with a diode indicating the operating status:
- a low brightness level indicates the initialisation of the connection between the power supply and the receiver,
- the maximum brightness of the LED indicates that the balance or scale is being supplied with power.
The voltage converter should be connected to the USB type A socket on the power bank.
Power Bank
To charge the power bank, simply use any mobile phone charger.
The optimal solution is a charger with a fast charging function to speed up the process.
The most important advantages of the power bank being a part of the ZR-03/2 set are considered to be:
- significantly long operating time without charging,
- display indicating the charging status,
- power supplying of up to 3 devices,
- high-quality components that guarantee reliability and safety (world-class chips, trouble-free batteries, state-of-the-art circuitry, unique design and robust multilayer coating),
- 7 levels of protection: against overcharge, discharge, overvoltage, overheating, overcurrent, short circuit, and electromagnetic field.
In addition, the power bank has passed a number of safety tests, received numerous certificates, and complies with airline standards.
Special Version of the PUE HX7 Terminal
The use of the ZR-03/2 buffer power supply requires ordering a special version of the PUE HX7 terminal equipped with a 12-24V DC power socket, to which the dedicated ZR-03/2 buffer power supply can be connected. In this version, power supply to the terminal is possible only from the ZR-03/2 buffer power supply. In this version of the terminal, there is no possibility of power supply from 110-230 V AC mains or from the internal battery. Charging of the powerbank is possible only after disconnection from the weighing terminal and using an external charger, which is not included in the set (a cell phone charger, for example, will be suitable for this purpose).
